—“””It’s not a love song, exactly, and it’s not a song about addiction, exactly. “Between the Bars” is about the ways in which protecting somebody you love turns into the need to control that person.”””
—“it’s really a love song written from alcohol to Elliott”
–“First, and most obviously, they’re the bars within which the speaker/singer is drinking. Second, they are the bars of the musical composition he is dedicating to that endeavor. Finally, they are the bars of the prison he is metaphorically creating for himself, and might, someday, have to face in a literal way.””
and many more interpretations……..
Special thanks to my dear friend Vasilia Malteza for the picture and for always tempting me to go further. https://www.facebook.com/vasiliamalteza?fref=mentions

After some fairytale days in Paris which stirrrrred my imagination and some crazy scheduled rehearsals in Antwerp which interestingly enough tested my physical strength, now Brrrrrussels, back to base – as stable as that can be, finishing my new book which is going to be a cocktail of poetry, photography, drawings and short stories… Typing next to the flowers from yesterday’s concert. Thank you Stadsschouwburg Sint-Niklaas for a warm applause and for embracing our musical enthusiasm!
In the meantime, this week I am meeting some exceptionally talented people for a new project for which I will be announcing news soon.
Until then, have nice, warrrrm days and take care!
PS. I visited Morrison’ s last house at Père Lachaise, thank god you can still have a little something or nothing from him!
At last! Holidays! Time to relax and find some ease…
Soon I will be announcing some exciting musical news
and also photos from Christmas Brussels!
Until then, visit my page on Facebook, “Like” it if you haven’t already so you don’t miss anything.
Write to me about photography, music, poems, thoughts…anything!
Connect! Let’s keep it warrrrm!
After a beautiful day spent in Verviers, Belgium, and after meeting unexpectedly some Greeks there (and yes, our home villages in Greece are close as always!) I found this kiss outside a bank and my friend and wonderful pianist Kalliopi posed to take the second kiss-picture…Let’s call it Reflection of a Kiss, as the kiss would be Kalliopi herself… Moreover, you will find another pianist in the midst of red ocean of seats, Thibaut with his eyes closed and last a shot I took from a street in Antwerp….by accident! Enjoy and tell me what you think, give your own title to the pictures by writing a comment below it. And………have a nice day! It’s a choice 😉
