So, in two days at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Brussels (Kleine Zavel) at 12.30 (free entrance) you can enjoy scenes from Le Nozze Di Figaro and Idomeneo by W.A.Mozart played by the students. On piano Mr.Jan Vande Weghe and on direction Mrs.Maja Jantar.
I play Ilia, the persian princess, now a prisoner in Creta, after the Trojan war, who falls in love with the enemy, the Greek prince Idamante. I had a great time preparing this role, not only because of the beautiful music and lyrics written, but also because Maja gave to the team an amazingly large amount of creative possibilities through body and voice improvisation. We worked together for 2 weeks, 5,5 hours every day and I will surely miss it after this Friday. So, see you there on Friday! 😉
PS. Some pics from the rehearsal’s in my Tarja Turunen style coat! Hell yeah!!!
And of course, one family photo!
